Hot Shot Roach Bait Review

If you’re here for some hot shot roach bait review, then you’re in the right place!

Hot shot products are known to kill roaches and the eggs they carry pretty fast. Once roaches come in contact with them, they begin to die in some hours.

Before writing this Hot shot cockroach killer review, I have tried some poison traps in my garage after spotting an infestation rising, but they didn’t work. My good friend, Bella then recommended one of Hot Shot products to me and after use, I noticed the only roaches I saw the next day were dead or dying.

I love the fact that the poison is safely contained and the container is transparent so you can see when it’s running low.

I placed some of these traps to my bathroom just in case any roach managed to get inside too.

We once had a big roach infestation. I had cockroaches in my bathroom, kitchen sink, bed room and literarily everywhere! I and my roommate were tired and tried everything we knew including calling an exterminator.

After we called an exterminator, we were required to leave the house for 2 hours. After we returned, they were gone truly but only for four days. They returned after that, this time more many than before (I guess they build immunity quick).

We tried Raid outside and Diatomaceus inside the house, which is a white natural powder that would pose no harm to me or my pets. The cockroach problem just wouldn’t go away! My boss recommended I use isopropyl alchohol 91% – this kills the roaches but is tasking as you need to kill one by one.

After much research on Amazon, we decided to go for the Hot Shot 2020W Roach bait – we bought two! Later, I returned and bought FIVE BOXES of TWELVE EACH. I spread FORTY EIGHT baits all over our home.

I had read online about how and why these baits work: When cockroaches begin to feed on whatever is the bait, they begin to slowly die and pass on the poison to other roaches. So, even after death, other cockroaches that eat the carcasses also die so that a big chain effect.

Fast forward, and its been a month now with no sign of roaches anywhere. I began first noticing a decrease in the number of cockroaches after 4 days of use. These baits worked where everything else has failed.

Nevertheless, we will continue buying these baits and using them as preventative measure than having to later deal with a much evolved cockroach infestation problem.

Like the first reviewer, I too have fought a good fight against bugs and roaches in my home for almost two years now. I tried everything from poison to boric acid to alcohol to smashing them with my legs, brooms and things but nothing stopped the endless waves of German roaches (and American roaches).

5 minutes turning off the light and switching it back on and you’d see the whole floor and all the kitchen counters littered with these disturbing bugs!

I was able to give up and accept the fact that my home has been completely overrun with these critters when I decided to make one more attempt.

I purchased half-a-dozen of the 6 packs of Hot Shot Ultra Liquid Roach Bait, and 12 boxes of Black Flag Roach Motel Insect Traps.

These combo was a classic pincer attack that proved more effective than I could have hoped for. In 14 days, I could see only a small number struggling to live left (Hahaha). The roach motels are filled with dying and dead larger roaches.

For days, I have wiped the floors and counters of dozens of dead, nasty little roach babies’ lifeless bodies. So last night, I turned on the lights to reveal only a couple wandering roach refugees soon to find their way to the grave.

I couldn’t be more proud of the results of their product. No more crawling bugs at night. No more poison spray everywhere too. The enemy would never give up, so now they’re all simply dead.

We’re planning a ticker-tape parade through the kitchen to celebrate overwhelming victory over roaches, and Hot Shot Ultra Liquid Roach Bait is going to be the hero riding the victory float!

I noticed roaches beginning to set more base at the kitchen, so decided to give this a try. In 3 days, I hardly see any cockroaches, only tiny ones here and there! But, you need to be aware – you should swap out this type of baits every 3 weeks or so.

That is because roaches eventually build up some level of resistance if you use the same bait over and over. This is a great one to begin with though.

It is completely enclosed so your kids and pets won’t be exposed, and not a problem to put around food.

This worked well for me. I had roach issues and when I put these out, they went from many to 0 in one month. There is no smell so nothing to worry about and cleaning up is simple too! The price is affordable and if you’re having issues with spider, roaches and other bugs, these would work!

These things work and are amazing. My local pest control company also said these are a good option. I have also tried these in my farm against fruit flies and the success rate has been pretty great.
